The Westenders Tour di Mari #2 was a smashing success! The Westenders Scooter Club was honored to have entertained guests from throughout the Puget Sound Metro area, including visitors from Bellingham, WA; Vancouver, BC and Portland, OR. Photos of the weekend events can be accessed at:Scoot.net

So how can we possibly improve on such a good thing?

Some parts will stay the same, while some locations will be changed. We're going to stick with the same outline that we enjoyed last year (great food, good music, fun rides and Raffle Prizes!) If you were at last year's rally, you're already aware of the incredibly large stock pile of prizes that our generous sponsors had donated for the raffle! So how could we possibly improve on that?

This year we are going to be raffling a fully-restored classic Vespa P200 in additional to the normal pile of loot! Plus, a portion of our profits will be donated to a local West Seattle Children's Charity. So get ready to saddle up for a Ride To Brighton with the Westenders SC.

Tickets for the two excellent raffles will be available for sale on Friday and Saturday.

The restored Vespa P200 will be raffled off in a special Super Raffle at Saturday's BBQ at Woodland Park. Special Golden P200 raffle tickets will be sold for $5 each.  Increase your chances with 5 tickets for $20, or 30 tickets for $100!

Tickets for the prize-packed Swag Raffle will be available for $1 each, or get a strip as long as you can stretch between your (or a big friend's) arms for $20. As an added bonus, each Rally Pack will include a free Swag Raffle ticket!

Remember, part of the proceeds goes to Southwest Youth and Family Services. So dig deep, help your neighbors, and you may be riding home on a fabulous restored Vespa!

To ensure a quality Rally experience, attendance will be limited to 100 participants. Pre-registration is highly encouraged to ensure that (a) you don't miss out, and (b) you are guaranteed a Rally shirt in your size.

UPDATE 7/26: We have pre-sold all our rally packs, and have maxed out at the Saturday BBQ, but everyone is welcome to come to Tour di Mari 3! Enjoy the Friday night meetup and ride to the Tiger Lounge, where we'll have 3 bands playing. On Saturday you can have a great breakfast at the Skylark and take part in the Water Ride, and certainly buy tickets for the big raffle, which will start after the Saturday BBQ at Woodland park about 5:30 or so. And definitely come join the fun on Sunday starting with brunch at Cafe Revo, followed by the famous Photographer's Ride!

Once again, we're sold out of rally packs and dinners at the Saturday BBQ, but if you didn't order your Rally Pack, you can still come and take part in the rides and the fun!
