After what seemed to be an interminable winter, and a spring that did not get off to a particularly auspicious start (snow on the first day of Spring?  In Seattle?  Really?), we finally had a good weekend.  The sun is out, the cherry blossoms are blooming, it’s time to crank up the Westenders riding season! Weeniepalooza!

It's pandamonium in the kitchen as the Westender Top Chefs finish up their entries in the 'Weeniepalooza' throwdown!

A funny thing about scooters is how they attract creative people.  The Westenders are no exception to this rule, and have among their ranks a number of talented artists, actors, and chefs!  The periodically like to get together for cooking competitions they call ‘throwdowns’.  A theme is picked, and the Westies ‘top chefs’ compete for the honors.  Previous culinary themes have included chili, BBQ, pizza, street food, etc. (more…)
