Description: This is the first of hopefully many inter-club bowling challenges!

The Rules:

1) Each club field one or more 4-person teams. Each team would then total up their scores from the games they play (one or two games or?).

2) Play will be at the West Seattle Bowl. Westenders have reserved 3 lanes.

3) Besides the actual teams competing, others can bowl for fun in other lanes, or just hang out and cheer everyone on.

4) On the actual competition teams, it is requested that only actual members of the 3 clubs compete; no spouses, boy/girlfriends, or other ringers.

Yo-Ho-Yo-Ho, A Scooter Pirate’s Life for Me!

Without a doubt, our friends the Scooters of Bellingham (SOBs), are the champions of clever names/themes for rallies!

The pirates are upon us, shipmates!  The Scooters of Bellingham (SOB) great annual rally, the Hamster Run, is here for it’s sixth incarnation as Hamster Run VI: Pirates of the Chukanut/Hex of the Hamsters!  HR6 is THIS WEEKEND, and will feature all the things that make the Hamster Run rallies a ‘must attend’ event on the Northwest scootering scene.  You’ll enjoy, great food, goofy games, and some really outstanding rides through some of the loveliest countryside around!

So cancel all appointments and be sure to be in Bellingham for Hamster Run VI; you won’t be disappointed! So plan on being there or we’ll keelhaul ya!

Mods & Rockers Return this Weekend!

No fighting this weekend; just a great time at Mods & Rockers 2011!

Mods and Rockers is back!  Whether you’ve got a motorcycle or a scooter, saddle up and join this great riding tradition!  Meet at the Shanty Tavern (9002 Lake City Way NE) this Saturday (6/4) about 1-ish.  Ride leaves promptly at 2pm to the South End, then returns to the Shanty for music and fun!

If you don’t want to ride up alone (you don’t want to be caught out by those rascally rockers!), you can meet up with the Westenders and the Firkins at 128th & 1st Avenue South in Burien at noon.  If you have a Facebook account, you can check out the details here.  The weather is predicted to be gorgeous (sunny and 70s!), so put on your best Mod or Rocker duds and see you there!
