About Us

The Westender Scooter Club is a diverse group of fun-loving peeps who are super scooter fanatics! Besides scooting around the Seattle area and beyond on our Vespas and Lambrettas, we are a friendly bunch who attend several regional and national rides and rallies a year, who have several themed food throwdowns a year, who love to support our local restaurants and music venues and bowling alleys, who attend several gallery shows and art walks, and who are actively involved in several local charities. We plan several ride-outs year round to these events.

Our largest event is our annual scooter rally, Tour di Mari. Over the last 5 years, it has grown into what has become one of the largest rallies here in the NW. The 3-day weekend usually falls on the 3rd weekend in July, and is packed with rides and events not to be missed. This year, we’ll be raffling off a 1974 Vespa Super that the club is restoring currently. And the BBQ is not the usual burgers and dogs fare. The gourmet spread is themed and prepared by our club’s chef and his team of sous chefs. Rally packs are pre-sold on our website, so check back and get one while they last. We have sold out the last few years and keep expanding our count to accommodate our ever-growing number of guests.

We do welcome non-members to join us as our guests on rides that are posted here on the website that are not otherwise noted as “members only”. It is suggested that you check out our  riding protocol if you are new to riding or if you haven’t joined us for a group ride before. This is to keep everybody safe and have “incident-free” rides. Also, you can count on our ever-important motto: No one gets left behind on a Westenders SC ride.

If you would like to join the Westender SC, please understand that membership is by invitation only. Please read a little about us first. Come out and ride with us for awhile and get to know everyone. Then if you’re interested in joining our club, please let one of our club members know so that we can discuss it and vote on it at our next club meeting.
