A-Haunting We Will Go!

You’ll be shakin’ shakin’ shakin’ with excitement over all the spooky scooting fun this month!

Halloween is just around the corner, and it’s not just for kids!  The Seattle-area scooter scene will have plenty going on the next three weekends for you if you like scooting and spooking!

Tonight (October 14 – sorry about the really short notice!) – VCOS Friday night ride leaves Big People Scooters for a ride to a local haunted house (the charity fundraising kind).  Ride leaves BPS at 7pm, admission to the haunted house $16.  Will go to the West Seattle Wingdome afterwards!

Wednesday, October 19 – Westender Wednesday at the Alki Tavern.  Dollar Dogs, free pool, and hanging out with your scooter peeps at “the ten-cent tavern with the million-dollar view”.  7pm ’til ?

Go ghostbusting with the Westenders!

Saturday, October 22 - Join the Westenders annual ‘Ghost & Grub’ ride!  Depart from C&P Coffee at 4pm for a guided tour of some of Seattle’s eeriest haunted sites.   We will then head over to Randy’s Restaurant at Boeing Field for dinner, then it’s over to Georgetown for their Haunted Georgetown walk and a party at The Stables.  You need to get your own tickets for the 7:30 walk from Brown Paper Tickets (Walk+Party – $12, Party only – $5).  The walks do sell out, so it’s best to get your tix sooner than later.

Ride with the LGGs on Paseo con los Muertos 10!

Saturday/Sunday, October 29-30 - Los Gatos Gordos presents Paseo Con Los Muertos 10!  Long a favorite event on the Seattle Scootering calender.  The LGGs take to the streets again with their famous Ride of the Macabre (Sat.), a tour of some of sites of Seattle’s most grisly and lurid crimes and celebrity suicides, and the Cemetery Ride (Sun.) where you’ll go to some of Seattle’s cemeteries and see where celebs like Bruce and Brandon Lee and Jimi Hendrix are buried.  There is also a BBQ and other fun!  You can get all the details on their Facebook page.
