There's a really cool spot down in Georgetown you've got to check out! The Tiger Lounge is a hip fun joint in a converted house in the heart of Georgetown's industrial area. The Westenders were there Wednesday night for their "Meow a go-go" night!
The Tiger Lounge reminds you of all the coolest 'party houses' from you college days! You can explore the different rooms for dancing, conversation, or just hanging out and chilling after a long day at work! The place is decorated in a fun 'Martin Denny meets Austin Powers' vibe, which makes it a perfect hangout for scooterists. There's plenty of onstreet parking available, but if you ride your scoot, you can just park it right in front of the establishment; the management likes the look!
As DJ Evan B. (aka 'DJ Ace Face') spun tunes in the living room, Westenders and friends enjoyed delicious Tiger Lounge pizza and cold beverages from the bar (very reasonable prices too, which is very important in this sucky economy!), and had fun in the basement, where the Tiger Lounge has an awesome collection of vintage pinball machines.
