Well, as far as scootering goes, 2009 has not exactly started with a bang. More like a shiver, a slip, a slide, and a splash! We've started the year thawing out from our cold snap and attendant snow, and now it's warmed up. Unfortunately, while Mae West might've said "too much of a good thing is wonderful", such isn't the case here. The warm weather has brought lots of rain, melting snow in the mountains, and flooding! Not much for riding opportunities.
So until we have some news to share, here's a treat for you. The Cute Lepers is a great Seattle band that include local scooterists in their lineup, and have a clever, lighthearted 'garageband' sound. This is a group that could really go places. Here's their latest video, "So Screwed Up", featuring scoots and shot in one of the Westenders favourite hangouts, Georgetown. Enjoy!
