Westenders go ghostbusting on Capitol Hill Saturday night!
The big weekend continues! Saturday the Westenders enjoyed one of their favorite annual events, "The Great Ghost 'n Grub Hunt #2". This was an event created by Westender RogerTango to combine two of his passions: good food and a great ghost story!

We started the adventure by meeting a Chano & Pinky's soon-to-be-opened new restaurant Cafe Revo for a sneak peek at what will be simply Seattle's best Italian restaurant. Chano & Pinky gave us a tour of the space, including what will be a spacious kitchen, beautiful dining areas which will evoke feelings of eating in an authentic Italian piazza, and the incredible bar, which is being made from a hand-carved slab of maple by skilled pacific northwest craftsmen! For more information on Cafe Revo, follow this link.
Taking our leave of Cafe Revo, we enjoyed a nice ride along the Seattle waterfront and ended up at the Old Spaghetti Factory for an early dinner. Having fortified ourselves for the night's adventures, Westender Smiley led us on a merry chase up to Capitol Hill and the Museum of the Mysteries!
Seattle Museum of the Mysteries curator Phillip Lipson
This museum is truly a hidden jewel on Capitol Hill. Curators Phillip Lipson and Charlette LeFevre have assembled an astonishing collection of books and artifacts concerning the paranormal. You can find here information on UFOs, ghosts, psychic phenomena and all manner of other mysteries!
Charlette led us on a ghost-hunters tour of the area around the Museum. She is very knowledgeable about the area's history, and told us many stories of Seattle from it's Prohibition days, when the Museum was a speakeasy. Unlike many 'ghost tours' that our geared towards entertaining tourists, Charlette and Phillip are serious paranormal investigators who showed us how real ghosthunters do it. Equipped with a couple of instruments that are used by ghosthunters to detect possible paranormal activity, we went to one of Seattle's best-known haunted locations, the Harvard Exit theater.
