Have you seen the smash hit movie "Mondo Scooterama"? If you have, you may remember that sultry, hip female vocal group that had a few songs on the soundtrack. The band is Lushy and they put on an awesome show for us at the Skylark Cafe!
Twenty-nine (yes, 29!) scooters from VCOS, the Westenders, including a few unaffilliated first time riders, swooped in on the Hula Hula lounge in downtown Seattle for some fun, laughs, conversation and prizes. Two of our very own Westender members walked away with the top prizes for the best dressed Hawiian attire. Plaidass won for best male outfit, sporting his 'Island Beers' shirt manufactured by his lovely wife, Stitch. Chewy walked away with best dressed female, illuminating the joint in the now 'infamous' islander outfit... yes this is the same outfit that first appeared back in July at the Hamster Run and keeps popping up at various scooter events!
After having sufficiently lubricated the machines with tropical oils, the group was on their way for a nightlights ride through Seattle and around Alki Point before ending up at Sklyark Cafe for the show and what a great show that it was.
